Healthy Living by V is a resource for guidance and inspiration for anyone interested in living a healthier, more connected, more peaceful lifestyle.
I am a teacher. I teach and guide students through Yoga Asana, Yoga Philosophy, Ayurveda, Pranayama, and Meditation. I promote an individual, intuitive approach to health and healing. I teach love and compassion which compels me to stand against systems and policies that are born out of hatred and fear. With a dedication to healing each other and our community I help empower others to discover and live out their truth as I continuously work to live out mine.
The beginning of my journey looks very, very different than it does today. If you’re interested, check out the 2009 September issue of Women’s Health Magazine and the post I called just the beginning. As you do, please know that I now REJECT the diet culture motivations and methods for “healthy living” that I shared in those early posts.
Vernette V Ayers is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, and YACEP. Classes are currently taught weekly through Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm and once a month on Fridays at 4pm. V’s schedule is now open for private Zoom sessions, as well.
